Year 2- Online Projects Part 2

Session Goals:

  • choose curricular goals that can be met with online projects

  • design projects that use the unique qualities of the Internet to meet individual curricular goals

  •  search the Internet for projects similar to the ones that you will be designing

  • ask a series of questions to help design the details of online projects.

  • make action plans for using online projects with students during this school year


Essential Questions:  How can students collaborate with people outside the classroom in authentic situations?

    Share what you have done with the epals account that you created during part one of online projects.

  • We will complete the following steps to design an online project:

1. Begin with a curricular goal.

2. Evaluate available resources.

3. Review existing projects.

4. Plan the project.

  • Dinner Break

5. Write the Call for Participation.

6. Post the Call for Participation.

7. Share results with participants.
