Year 1:  File Management


Session Goals:

  • review the location of files on computers using both Windows Explorer and My Computer

  • become aware of various possibilities for organizing files and make decisions about what will work best

  • be able to delete, move, rename and find documents

  • understand basic naming conventions

  • practice basic cleaning and maintenance that can increase the longevity and performance of the equipment

  • Viewing, locating, creating, deleting, moving, organizing files and folders

  • Backing up files

  • Understanding server space
